Souper Bowl of Caring

Souper Bowl of Caring

The FPC Monroe Youth club Souper Bowl of Caring campaign is underway.  We are proud to support the Community Shelter of Union County in its service to provide food, emergeny shelter, and rehousing for thos in need by participating in the youth-inspired Souper Bowl of Caring movement.

This year's honoree for the Souper Bowl of Caring Campaign is Gloria Baker, who passed into eternal life last year.  Gloria spent her life in service to others through her work as an educator, Stephen Minister, and Church Elder; working to sow peace through love and acts of service to everyone, as we are all in the family of God.  Even as she battled cancer, Gloria inspired those around her with her steadfast faith and immense love for others.

The FPC Youth Club campaign will run from January 14th to February 11th, but online donations will be accepted through the end of the Community Shelter of Union County campaign that ends in March.

Youth Club

Sunday Youth Club

The FPC Monroe Youth Club meets every Sunday after Worship from 11:45 AM - 1:30 PM.  Join us each week as we share a meal together, deepen our relationship with God, and celebrate our fellowship playing games and serving the community.  This year, our youth will explore strategies to use the Word of God to guide their steps as they approach school, friendships, and adversity - building upon what we learned this summer on our Summer Youth Retreat where we studies Ephesians 6: 13.

Fellowship Coffee Hour

Last Sunday of the Month - Fellowship Coffee Hour

"And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers." Acts 2:42

We are taught by the apostles that we are to live in community with our brothers and sisters in Christ, and in doing so, we are able to bear witness to the miracles and majesty of Christ as He works in and through our lives.  Join us after Worship on the last Sunday of the month for an hour of fellowship over coffee and light refreshments.
