DISCIPLESHIP

Join us Sunday mornings at 9:30 AM for Discipleship Classes.

We have classes for all ages.

Ash Wednesday is February 14th, so our Adult Discipleship class will begin our Lenten Study on Sunday, February 19th.  This year, we will explore the Gospel of Luke by following the book Luke: Jesus and the Outsiders, Outcasts and Outlaws by Adam Hamilton.  In his book, Adam Hamilton draws attention to the emphasis placed in the Gospel of Luke on the care and compassion that Jesus has for the sinners, outcasts, and those considered unimportant so that we can hear the message of inspiration and hope for our lives today.

The Lighthouse Kids classes for our young disciples meet Sunday Mornings at 9:30 AM for a time of hands-on Bible Study.  We embrace the wiggles and fidgeting that God put in our children and have a designed our lessons to match their energy.  Our Lighthouse Kids are given the opportunity to immerse themselves in the Bible Stories and lessons through art and craft projects that span several weeks.  As the children learn about scripture, they are able to create scenes from the stories with mixed media art projects that may be displayed in the church or at home.

If you have time, we invite you to check out our Noah’s Ark mixed media mural placed on display February 11th in the Fellowship Hall.  Starting February 18th, our Lighthouse Kids will begin crafting Resurrection Terrariums, adding new components each week leading up to Easter.

Join us for a new weekly Bible Study series beginning Tuesday, March 5th at 6:30 PM in Room 200.  We will be studying 1 & 2 Peter every Tuesday through April.  All are welcome and invited to dive deep into God's Word, fellowship and prayer!

In addition to Sunday morning discipleship classes, we invite you to join us weekdays for a midday devotional and prayer group meeting on Wednesdays from 12:15 - 12:45 PM.
