Member Visitation
The Serve and Care Committee has a list of church members who need our prayers and our tiems. Can you give an hour, share a lunch time or take someone to lunch? Contact Barbara Richardson if you would like to voluneer.
Meals Ministry
Jesus often shared the gospel by breaking bread with others. We have several ministries that help deliver food to church members and people within the community. Contact Barbara Richardson or Harriet Metrosky to participate in one of our meal missions
Community Garden & Heart for Monroe
We have partnered with Heart for Monroe in many different ways to make a difference in our community. FPC Monroe has converted a parcel of land into a community garden, supported by Heart for Monroe, used to provide fresh vegetables to members of our community.

Sit & Knit
This knitting ministry began making prayer shawls in 2004. Since then, it has evolved into new areas; providing baby hats for newborns, chemo hats for our hospital, patriotic lapghans for our Hospice House, outreach to the needy in the Appalachias, hats and mitten sets for children in our schools, scarves for orphans in Africa, and so much more.

Stephen's Ministry
We all experience challenges in life - times when we could benefit from the support of a caring Christian friend. Stephen Ministers are ready to provide the emotional and spiritual care we need when faced with a crisis or difficulty. Our congregation's Stephen Ministry provide confidential, one-to-one Christian care to individuals in our congregation who are experiencing difficulties in their lives.

Union County Community Shelter
Our church has a long standing relationship with the Union County Community Shelter. Various FPC Groups rotate to serve meals at the Union County Community Shelter. We participate in the Souper Bowl of Caring and other events that help support the efforts of this amazing Community resource.

Rise Against Hunger
Each year, we partner with Rise Against Hunger to package meals consisting of rise and soy that are delivered to people worldwide that face food insecurity every day! Our goal is to package 10,000 meals to aid in the effort to combat hunger.

Faith Community Health Ministry
Our bodies our temples of Christ, and our Faith Community Health Ministry helps provide information through Carolinas Healthcare System to help with everything from stress to heart health. Check out our display board and handouts throughout the church.
