Discipleship — We have many different ways to get your child plugged into the life of the church. Our goal as a church is to nurture and guide your child so that they would know they are wonderfully made, that God has a plan for their life, and Jesus is their savior. Our Elementary-aged disciples, our Lighthouse Kids, meet each Sunday for a time of fun, learning, and fellowship. Our 5th-8th graders enjoy a discipleship class that helps them develop their personal relationship with Christ and transition into our Youth Ministry programs.
Pre-K and Nursery — Pre-K children (4's and 5's) are also welcome to join in our Lighthouse Kids discipleship classes as they prepare themselves to enter Kindergarten. Our lessons and activities are designed to engage children of all ages, but may require parental support as they get started to help ease them into the program. Children of all ages are welcome during Sunday worship service. We have activity pads, coloring sheets, and books available. We celebrate having children in our worship service, but understand this can make parents anxious. We have places in the church where children can
Children’s Activities—Children are encouraged to sing in special performances around Christmas and Easter led by our music department. Special activities for children and families are planned throughout the year such as fishing, bowling and trunk-or-treat. Children are encouraged to participate in our annual Christmas pageant and Easter egg hunt. Service opportunities such as Operation Christmas Child and Rise Against Hunger Rice Packaging are available for participation. During the summer we have VBS and Summer Retreats.
