Prayer & Study
Prayer & Study
So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.
-Romans 10:17
Community Prayer
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
Philippians 4: 6-7
Let us come together Monday evenings for a time of silent community prayer to pray for our church. The sanctuary will be open for participants to drop in between 6:30 - 7:30 PM. If you are unable to attend in person, we hope you will join us in prayer during this time wherever you may be.
Midday Devotional Prayer Group
Many of us expeirence that 2:30 feeling - back at work after lunch and your motivation is starting to fade, fatigue is gradually setting in and you need a cup of coffee or a walk outside to wake yourself up to power through the rest of the day. The same can happen to us spiritually as the effects of Sunday morning worship begin to fade and we are totally immersed in the world - take a break with the Midday Devotional and Prayer Group and let the power of the Word give your heart a wake-up call that will help you perservere through the rest of the week. Join us on Wednesdays from 12:15 - 12:45 PM in the Parlor Room starting February 21st and continuing until the summer.
Weekly Bible Study
"And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."
Acts 4:12
Join us for weekly Bible Study every Tuesday Night at 6:30 PM in Room 200. We will be studying the Acts of the Apostles and reflecting on how we can apply the lessons learned from the early church into our own ministires. All are welcome and invited to dive deep into God's Word, Fellowship, and Prayer!

Start a daily Bible reading habit!
There are often discussions about what is the best Bible to read, which translation should I get, etc....and the answer is simple. The best Bible is the one that gets you excited about The Word; the one that you will read. God doesn't care if you use a printed Bible or an app on your phone or tablet as long as your are seeking Him and spending time with Him.
If you need help getting a Bible or looking through the different tranlsations to find the one that helps you understand what you're reading, stop by our church library and look through the many translations we have available. Feel free to take it home and get into The Word.
