God calls us to be active in our community.

See how FPC Monroe has been using our gifts and talents to further God's Kingdom.

The FPC Youth Club is proud to lead our Body of Christ in packing boxes for The Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child again this year.  The First Presbyterian Church Preschool and members of our Body of Christ have spent the last month putting together boxes, collecting supplies, and donating funds to cover the shipping costs of each box.  Those efforts culminated Sunday, November 12th as we filled and prayed over 100 boxes that will be sent to bring joy and the message of the Gospel to children across the globe.  On Sunday, November 19th, our Body of Christ prayed over the boxes before our Youth Club delivered them to the Operation Christmas Child Collection Center.  At the Collection Center, our Youth, joined by the Collection Center Volunteers, prayed together one final time for the boxes and the Messengers that will take the boxes and the Good News of the Gospel to their final recepients.

A special thanks to everyone that supported the mission, and we ask that you join us in continued prayer for the Pastors and workers that will carry the boxes and the Gospel message to their recipients and that they may come to know Jesus Christ.
