Come and See Open House

He said to them "come and see."  They came and saw where he was staying and they remained with him that day.  - John 1:30

Are you looking for a church home?  Are you looking for warm, friendly people?  Then Come and See what is happening at First Presbyterian Church of Monroe.  We have a casual, family friendly Worship service with a blend of contemporary and traditional music.  Come check us out on Saturday, April 20th from 10AM to 2PM during our Come and See Open House.

Live Music

Come and enjoy an afternoon full of fun and music.  Our FPC Monroe Praise Band will be providing entertaining during the Open House Event.

Lunch is Provided

What's community without the chance to share a meal?  Come and see what's for lunch?  We will have food cooked fresh on the grill along with food from local vendors - on the house!

Sanctuary Artwork

In addition to being open during our Open House, the stainglass windows of our sanctuary will be a part of this year's Monroe Art Walk on Friday, April 12th from 5-9 PM and Saturday, April 13th from 10-2PM.  Come and see the beauty of the story of God.  Just as each individual book in the Bible comes together to create an elaborate love story, each small piece of colored glass creates abstract pictures in the stainglass windows that tells a part of the Bible Story.

Kid Friendly Fun

Let us entertain your kids for a while!  Come and see what kind of fun we have in store!  We will have games outside on the front lawn and a bounce house to help our young friends burn off some energy.  And while you're here, we invite you to learn more about the FPC Youth Club and Lighthouse Kids.

Personal Prayer Sessions

It is a gift from God to share one another's burdens and celebrate each other's victories.  Come and see what our Body of Christ looks like.  We invite you into a time of personal prayer, where we may lift up each other.

Come & See Who We Are

We have a wide variety of Ministry and Missions teams at FPC Monroe that utilize our many gifts and talents to support our community.  Come and see the work we do.  We have two Women's Circles: the Joy & Faith Circle that meets in the morning, and the Faith Journey Group that meets in the evenings.  Our Community Garden, with the support of Heart for Monroe, helps to provide fresh produce and vegetables to our neighbors.  The First Presbyterian Church Preschool provides an affordable, enriching, and loving educational experience to children ages 18 months to 5 years old.  Our Good Times Group finds the joy wherever they are!  There is a lot happening at FPC Monroe, and we invite you to come and see who we are and what we do!

Rise Against Hunger

It is our honor to work with Rise Against Hunger to provide healthy, protein rich food to families around the world.  Come and See FPC Monroe in Action on Sunday, April 21st and be a part of our Rice Packaging Event.  We will share a meal together following our 10:30 AM worship service before we begin.  Follow the link below to find out more or sign up to be a volunteer.
