Youth Activities/SNYC (Sunday Night Youth Club)
Beginning in 6th grade, youth can participate in our Sunday night program. A typical evening consists of sharing a meal together, Bible study and devotion time, games, music and fellowship. We also provide service opportunities such as Operation Christmas Child, Stop Hunger Now, Souper Bowl of Caring, and serving a meal at the Union County Community Shelter. Fundraising opportunities and other special activities are planned throughout the year. Youth can participate in FITS (Fun in the Son) and/or regional/international mission trips during the summer.
Confirmation
Confirmation class is held during either the 6th or 7th grade year for youth who are ready to join the church. This class begins in September.
Sunday School
This is a time on Sunday mornings when 7th-12th graders come together to learn about the Bible using various curriculums and studies. Biblical topics are age appropriate and relevant connections are made to the lives of our youth.
Graduation/Youth Sunday
The first Sunday in June is a special day set aside to honor our high school graduates and is created and implemented by the youth of our church and youth club program.
Staffing
Currently, two of our former youth, who are now adults, are on staff to work closely with all youth who come through the church doors. We also have dedicated counselors who help teach Sunday school and/or are actively involved in our Sunday night program. Youth are encouraged to bring friends on both Sunday morning and evenings. We would love for you to join us!
